now that the much awaited semestral break has come, students from all over pisay jump in joy as the "torture" for the year has come to a hault, or rather just a pause. it's not really a hault 'coz after that one week, the torment continues.

anyway, high school students aren't actually supposed to have a semestral break, according to my mom. but i'm glad we don't follow that 'coz at least we could have a li'l break from the acads.

but is there really a semestral break?

looking deeper into the picture, i say we don't actually have a semestral break. i mean (hello!?), oct. 29, and nov. 1 and 2 are legal hollidays - which leaves us to two non-hollidays for the week. this then links me back to what i'm trying to say here: a semestral break... for just two days??

that's not all. for fellow senior studes like me, even if the three days that i've stated earlier were non-hollidays, it really won't be a semestral break for us. why? well here's the deal: research. this is just a mere small time for us to focus our fullest attention on our research (that is if we want to graduate!). and yes (you guessed it), we'll be in school for the whole week! or maybe just our group. well at least this is just for us seniors! (and more burden for me: a LOT of things i've got to do which mam esperas gave me.) weeew, just great!

so who said we'll be having a sembreak?!? probably the lower years. seniors say no!! (or maybe except for those who are done with their experiments!)

.sometimes what you thought of before won't actually come out right when you most expect it. learn to loosen up, don't get too attached.
