unforeseen hellweek.

That's right. I never thought this week would've been a hell week. I thought this would be a stress-reliever week from the weekend I had at Mt. Balingkilat in Zambales because it was definitely one stressful climb (if the view wasn't all worth it, I'd have lesser chances of getting my ass back there. But since it's the other way around, even with the heat and the late reaction niknik bites I got, I have greater chances of going back there. Read: chances). So basically this is what happened (enumeration almost organizes your thoughts when you're disoriented, so let me enumerate): - MT. BALINGKILAT on the weekend. Yey! My first climb as a member of the Loyola Mountaineers. It was fun -- the climb, the wondrous night sky, sunrise and the 360-degree view at the peak. Thanks to a fun company, I wouldn't have enjoyed the climb up and down. I could still remember (of course, 'coz this is a fresh memory), our singing during the trek (hi raisa and ces!); especially that song when all our breath was vacuumed out: 99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer! you take one down and pass it around, 98 bottles of beer on the wall... -- that was hilarious. If not for times like these, I would only remember the scorching heat of the sun as we trekked up and down! ugh.
- Back to the dorm. Getting back burst our nerves 'coz the bus left even without the clocking announcing an 8 pm time, leaving us in Olongapo. I remember Kian talking to the victory liner personnel... (wooh! Go Kian!!) We eventually got on a 8:20 bus without added payment.
- Monday was a holiday. So I overslept, naturally. I woke up at 12 noon (plus or minus 30 minutes) with itchy arms and legs AND muscle pains on the legs. I couldn't move around very effectively and the itch was spreading. Apparently, I had a late reaction to the niknik bites/eggs (??), (or was this from the cogon grass?) Bottomline really is that, even after the stress climb, a new stress has been born! Yahoo!
- Tuesday is lab day (AND the worst day so far) so I slept late on Monday night to make my pre-lab. Again, I overslept and woke up at 7:00 (or did I just take TOO long in the shower? Note: Couldn't move arround effectively). Since our lab is at 7:30, I had to rush. I bet I could've arrived on time if i was capable of running -- IF NOT for my muscle pains! I could've taken the 10-point quiz and missed the 15-point deduction for being late on that particular lab activity. So that leaves me a 75/100-point maximum: a C+. AND we had to take an overtime in the lab to finish the whole activity; we finished at 1:00 pm -- 30 minutes left to eat my BRUNCH, 30 minutes before MATH. And then after math I had PE. It was a rush time again. It was hard to move and remember, tap dancing... shoes.... legs... muscle pains... UGH. I hated this day. Plus, when we had to watch Huling Pasada, I fell asleep at the start of the movie! So basically, I didn't get to understand some of the contents of it. If I didn't find out that other LM members had the same sentiments as I, I wouldn't have been able to smile and laugh -- HAHA. Si Faline kinailangang mag-steroids!! =))
- I just had to oversleep on Wednesday. I woke up at a quarter to 9:00, made my research proposal for English for a little more than 30 minutes, and ran to class -- well, more like limped to class. I DIDN'T TAKE A BATH! (But I took a shower on Tuesday Night. haha). When I got there, they were starting a quiz. It was a good thing that Ms. Suarez allowed us to share books, otherwise I would've flunked the whole quiz. Then some of my blockmates arrived with National Bookstore plastics -- which made me realize that I didn't have that long brown and plastic envelope!!! CRAP. I hadn't even had my proposal printed at that time. But thanks to Ms. Suarez who seemed rather considerate at that moment and to YONI who figured I didn't have those materials and bothered to buy me some, I didn't totally got sacked today -- except for the fact that I got a high RSD value for Chem 36.5 (when it's supposed to be small)!! UGH. More point deductions for that lab activity!!!
- Organization Concerns. I have nothing against them. LM is fun (and I love the people!) and we're making our booth for the Sparkle activity this weekend (which I don't seem to understand why they had to change the venue to Cervini Field. It stinks there right now!). DMC Choir (for those who don't know yet, yes, I sing) is fun, too! And I love them, too! Arsa Variety Show Promo and Photo concerns are indeed, concerning me! But I enjoy photoshop! So what's the problem? My ever so disoriented self who easily get's distracted with internet surfing and other stuff just like blogging NOW.
- THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. I wonder what's in store for me? Well, again, I'll be a bit busy with the orgs. But hopefully I won't get easily distracted, that I would be able to walk normally now, that my itchy chicken-pox-looking spots would disappear already, that I would be able to get things organized, and that I would get enough SLEEP -- the lack of it being a vital source of nausea and being disoriented at the same time for me.
- SATURDAY is sparkle and DMC performance simultaneously! uh-oh.
Actually, this is not a hell week. It's not a mountain-full-of-long-quizzes-and-deadlines-I-have-to-meet-week. It's not that at all (though I have some responsibilities at hand). It's because I've experienced a tinge of hell without seeing it coming. UGH.
