midterm resolutions (2nd sem, s.y. 08-09)

yes, it's already half way through the semester and i don't seem to have improved my low low grades since the start of the sem. and no, i am going to FOLLOW THESE and constantly remind myself of these. in fact, i'm going to click the cork board icon on the inbox window at the bottom of this post... the "pin message to top of Inbox"-icon to ALWAYS remind myself of these resolutions. it's high time to make the change and BE the change.

AHCK. goodbye director's list. this is exactly why i am having second thoughts to going to the distinction mass and dinner this sunday because i find myself unworthy, judging by my poor performance this second sem. alright, here goes:

  • no more CUTTING. as mike said just minutes ago, [16:32] mike: SUPER MEGA CUTTER KA TODAY AH --- you got that right. no, i actually didn't cut, i was absent! haha. i overslept without finishing my paper and note cards, i had a slight headache and i STILL have a stiffneck from the math 19 midterms last night. i woke up when yoni paged me to go to cervini for our lit shooting (thanks yoni for waking me up). so there, i decided to cut the rest of my classes and finish my english stuff, which by the way, aren't even done yet till now! :(( i am so regretting this NOW.
  • no more CRAMMING. i actually started to do this, like when i studied for the math midterms. yes, i studied, but not that thoroughly. i'm just glad that it turned out to be easier than our math long tests. but then, i crammed AGAIN for my english stuff. which resulted to my SUPER MEGA CUTTER day today. :|
  • BALANCE fun, orgs and acads. i had always been a go-to-where-the-fun-is type of girl that sometimes i become more rational than logical. i'd say, "mamaya nalang, hindi ako matutulog. mag-enjoy muna tayo ngayon..." curse me for saying that! i always end up FALLING ASLEEP! and so tonight and before i climb tomorrow, i WILL finish my note cards and get a head start with my research paper draft! i WILL NOT CLIMB unless i finish these. and when we go to Tagaytay/ Mt. Batulao tomorrow, i WILL continue my draft there even if i'm not comfortable not working on my laptop. it's going to be quite a challenge. BOTTOMLINE: balance everything. it's always healthy to have a bit of these three. :)
  • sleep RIGHT. i don't want to oversleep anymore. and i HAVE to sleep earlier for me to achieve this. so it's time to sleep right! plus, it's healthy, right?
  • exercise and eat RIGHT! yes, let's be healthy! hahaha! i haven't lost my holiday fats. =)) who wants to jog with me?? :D (do i hear jethro??? who else??)
  • SAVE. alright, it's poverty at its poorest. let's save guys. :D no money, no climbs. tsk tsk tsk. :) and it's better to be safe than sorry!

i may have missed some stuff for my resolution, i'll just add if ever i do miss them. help me out guys! i just missed another set of bonus points in english, and another quiz in chem! last year, i missed a 10-pt quiz and 30-pt homework in english because i was careless and i oversleep. i also flunked a quiz in chem, and have been CARELESS several times. I HATE THIS.

it's time to get organized!! :) i hope i get to do these stuff!
